Help in Assessing Your Level in Italian If you would like us to help you evaluate your level and suggest a class that may be appropriate for you, we provide that service to students who have registered and paid tuition. Along with your registration and payment, you can send us a completed assessment. If you send it before the early registration cutoff date, we can inform you of your suggested level before your first class. Download the assessment by clicking here. (The assessment is in PDF file format and is viewable with Adobe Reader. The Adobe Reader program is free and downloadable by clicking here.) Complete as much of the assessment as you can without referring to grammar books or dictionaries so that we can accurately assess your level. Then, mail the completed assessment to the address at the foot of this page. You may also email a scanned version of the completed assessment in PDF format. If you send an email, please write "Italian Language Assessment" in the subject line of the email, and identify yourself by the name you registered. We will evaluate your answers and send you a note with your suggested level before the start of classes, or inform you of your suggested level when you arrive for the first day of class.
